Church Government
The Wardens and Vestry provide our parish leadership, responsible for all financial and ministry matters.The Vestry (governing board) is made up of two wardens and 12 elected members. A clerk and treasurer are also involved in leadership roles. Each January, an election is held at St. Matthew's Annual Meeting to replace outgoing Vestry members, who are generally elected for a three-year term.
Open Vestry meetings are held at the church on the third Thursday evening of the month. Parish members may attend meetings and request to have a topic placed on the agenda by notifying Fr. Craig Gavin in advance of the next regularly scheduled meeting at cgavin@windstream.net
